Ahead of the Chinese New Year on Saturday 25 January 2020, Manchester United debuted their special, limited-edition pre-match jerseys in their warm-up prior to the game against Norwich. The design sees an intricately embroidered dragon emblem on the chest, tying the club to the mystic beast of Chinese folklore.
The Special edition jersey released to celebrate Chinese New Year of the Rat in 2020. Dragon graphics stand out on the front of the jersey, a reflection of Manchester United’s global dominance through the lens of Chinese folklore, the emblems are embroidered into its material.
